VistaCare Hospice has created a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical insurance, a prescription drug plan, dental insurance, 401(k), life/accidental death and dismemberment insurance, long-term disability, tuition reimbursement and more.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
All full-time employees are eligible for PTO. VistaCare provides employees with an extremely generous paid time off program. Full-time employees earn 160 hours of PTO the first year of employment. In addition to PTO, employees are given paid time off to serve on juries and for personal bereavement needs.

Medical & Prescription Drugs
All full-time employees are eligible for the medical and prescription drug plan. VistaCare offers two medical plan options.

Dental
All full-time employees are eligible for dental benefits. VistaCare offers two dental plan options.

Vision
Full-time employees are eligible for vision benefits.

401(k) Plan with Company Match
All employees over 21 years of age are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan, managed by The Hartford, after 90 days of service. VistaCare contributes a matching amount to participating employees' total contributions.

Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment & Voluntary Life Insurance
Full-time employees are eligible for the life/accidental death and dismemberment benefits, and may purchase voluntary life insurance.

Full-time employees are covered by basic life insurance that provides a death benefit of one times the employee's salary up to a maximum amount. In addition, by purchasing voluntary life insurance through VistaCare, employees benefit through affordable group rates, convenient payroll deductions, and access to knowledgeable service representatives and coverage that is portable.

Long-Term & Short-Term Disability
Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in long-term disability insurance that provides for income replacement in the event of a disability. Full time employees may also purchase Short-Term Disability insurance.

Tuition Reimbursement
Full-time employees are eligible for reimbursement of tuition costs for job-related college classes and university courses.

Health & Dependant Care Flexible Spending Accounts
Full-time employees are eligible to participate in the health and dependent care flexible spending account benefits, which provide tax savings to participants.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
All employees and their household members are eligible for the EAP benefits.
